AB	Toen zei Samuel: Breng Agag tot mij, de koning van de Amalekieten. Agag nu ging vreugdevol tot hem; en Agag zei: Voorwaar geweken is de bitterheid van de dood!
SV	Toen zeide Samuel: Breng Agag, den koning der Amalekieten, hier tot mij. Agag nu ging tot hem weeldelijk; en Agag zeide: Voorwaar, de bitterheid des doods is geweken!
WLC	וַיֹּ֣אמֶר שְׁמוּאֵ֗ל הַגִּ֤ישׁוּ אֵלַי֙ אֶת־אֲגַג֙ מֶ֣לֶךְ עֲמָלֵ֔ק וַיֵּ֣לֶךְ אֵלָ֔יו אֲגַ֖ג מַעֲדַנֹּ֑ת וַיֹּ֣אמֶר אֲגָ֔ג אָכֵ֖ן סָ֥ר מַר־הַמָּֽוֶת׃ ס
Trans.	wayyō’mer šəmû’ēl hagîšû ’ēlay ’eṯ-’ăḡaḡ meleḵə ‘ămālēq wayyēleḵə ’ēlāyw ’ăḡaḡ m^a‘ăḏannōṯ wayyō’mer ’ăḡāḡ ’āḵēn sār mar-hammāweṯ:

AC	לב ויאמר שמואל הגישו אלי את אגג מלך עמלק וילך אליו אגג מעדנת ויאמר אגג אכן סר מר המות {ס}
ASV	Then said Samuel, Bring ye hither to me Agag the king of the Amalekites. And Agag came unto him cheerfully. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
BE	Then Samuel said, Make Agag, the king of the Amalekites, come here to me. And Agag came to him shaking with fear. And Agag said, Truly the pain of death is past.
Darby	And Samuel said, Bring ye near to me Agag the king of Amalek. And Agag came to him gaily. And Agag said, Surely the bitterness of death is past.
ELB05	Und Samuel sprach: Bringet Agag, den König der Amalekiter, zu mir her. Und Agag kam lustig zu ihm; und Agag sprach: Fürwahr, die Bitterkeit des Todes ist gewichen!

Sch	Samuel aber sprach: Bringet Agag, den König der Amalekiter, zu mir her! Und Agag kam gefesselt zu ihm. Und Agag sprach: Fürwahr, widerwärtig ist des Todes Bitterkeit!
